About GlobeSearch
Our history starts in 1989 when, after 14 years at IBM and a couple of years at ICL, Christian Nielsen decided to establish EuroSearch. Inspired by the cultures and personalities he had met during his career, he wanted to make a difference by using his network to help IT companies recruit the best candidates in the market.
1989 was not a particularly good year for the IT business, but especially one company was moving forward, namely Oracle which was being established in the Danish market. Oracle became our first client and we helped them recruit top qualified candidates throughout the nineties. In 1991, we also entered into cooperation with Microsoft, which was also going to establish business in Denmark. At that time, Microsoft had its domicile in Hedehusene - and only seven employees. Microsoft is still a client of ours, and over time we have placed many personalities in Microsoft within our three focus areas: Top management, sales & marketing specialists, and technical specialists.
In 1999 – after 10 years – we decided to change name to GlobeSearch, which was also the name of our international network. Furthermore we established three companies:
- GlobeSearch Management A/S
- GlobeSearch A/S
- GlobeTech A/S
In 2006, we re-united our activities under the GlobeSearch name, but we kept all the competencies to offer a full-service concept to innovative companies in need of the best candidates of the market. Over time we have helped many companies recruit candidates on a search basis and you will find a selection of customer stories under "services".
We are not interested in many clients. In stead we seek long-term relations which are of value to both clients and candidates. In fact, many of our current clients were once GlobeSearch candidates. We do not advertise, but focus on our clients' needs and our candidates' careers. Which is probably why you have heard of us?
